My style is a combination of Lifestyle Photography and Boutique Imagery. Honestly, these are two very different styles, but I feel like I combine a mixture that gives my clients the best of both worlds.

Lifestyle Photography is more photojournalistic "pretend I'm not here and I'll capture what is happening." This style captures the beauty that is around you every day. All of the little moments you want to remember. The face of your newborn baby just before he begins to wail...or begins to smile. The giggles that your toddler enchants you with on a daily basis. The look on your husbands face as he looks at your children...or at you as you are walking down the aisle on your wedding day. These are moments that cannot be staged and I love to capture them for you to enjoy over and over again.

Along with my Lifestyle Photography, I like to create Boutique Imagery. These images are ideas that could make for a beautiful artistic image. These are the images that I am more likely to pull in backdrops, studio lights and a few minor props or fabrics. This portion of the session becomes a collaboration. I come with plenty of ideas, but am always open to suggestions and willing to work with others ideas as well.
